  1. Ok, Take a breath... You are doing everything right... The weight will come off. You are not in the green zone yet.. Keep getting your fills, try to stick to the 1200 calories a day, exercise... You will get there... As for your husband...Im jealous..wink (men are unbelievably fast losers) Look at all your achievements and stay motivated....
  2. It will come off, just give it time.. Try moisturizing in between showers this should help..

  4. Yeah, I heard some people say altitude can make the band tighter, but never have experience this myself. Best of Luck.
  5. Try to get in your protein, it will help with the hunger.. Do some pureed soups too..
  6. Breakfast: Greek yogurt and Coffee (separated) Lunch: .5c of Chicken Salad and 3 ritz crackers Snack: Low Fat Ice Cream Bar Dinner: TBA
  7. I am a RN working in the Cardiac ICU, I took 6 weeks off and was on lite duty for 2 weeks.. Its all or nothing, I couldn't have others do my lifting. Physically I felt fine after 4 weeks, but my MD said post surgery our bodies are high risk for a hernia.. Good Luck to everyone on their lap band journey..

  9. The doctor told me liquids day of fill and then progress to soft then solid as tolerated.. The tighter I get the longer my liquid phase seems to be though. This last fill I was on liquids for 2-3 days.
  10. Best of Luck.... Remember to walk walk walk when you get home.. You wont want too but it will help you relieve the gas filling..

  16. I am not from Rochester, Im from the Bronx. But I had the band for 2 yrs now and also feel like i failed. How did you overcome it? What did you do to put your life on track? Are you lossing? Thanks, Alanna
  17. Talk to your Doctor, but my doc said the port will move as you lose weight.
  18. I fell off the wagon too.. Life just got in the way... My biggest fear was going to see the surgeon and getting lectured, but three weeks ago I sucked it up, and made the choice to make this work for me.. I went to see her and you know what she said?? Why have you been blowing me off???? I was shocked.. no lecture,,, no you failed you suck speech.. Just that. She gave me a fill.. I am seeing her again in two weeks. I could not be have been happier. Still working on the eating. I think I just need more fills.. Not in the green zone yet.. Good Luck, Do what is best for you. No matter what anyone says..
  19. I feel like I am in the same boat as you.. Can defiantly relate. I too am getting a reboot. Have you gone to get a fill recently? I feel like it really helped get me back on track. I know all the ways to cheat as well, but after all we are only cheating ourselves..
  20. Im still in the Puree stage, only 2 days post op. Finding it difficult to know if im hungry, when to eat, drink etc. Today i had" Breakfast:1 egg scrambled. Lunch: 1/2 protein shake. Dinner: to be determined.. Definatly drinking my water, I do miss coffee thought, anyone know when i can drink coffee again?

  22. take some time and wait it out, take the pill alitlle later.. i was banded the same day as u... Congratulations. How are you feeling about the eating? Are u feeling hungry?
