Hang in there. I was banded last Friday in the afternoon. Still on clear liquid diet... Was wheeled into the theater and remember asking the surgeon if the anesthetics will take my headache away.. lol

Congrats, I was banded on the 8th... and I know what you are saying, I do not have any energy. The pain of the gas totally freaked me out, plus, I traveled by plane, train, bus and cab to get to the hospital, then I was discharged to a lodge one day post op, then took the long road back home.. now.. I just want to vegetate. I am sure that in a week's time we will be over it all. I do still have pain on my left side with a huge hard knob. I have a dr's appt next week and after that!!! lets put the negative thoughts behind us and get a moving!!! But.. for now... take it easy, rest and recover!! Take care

Me too. 8 Oct. But since I am in Sydney Australia, I will be up and running by the time you get your op. I am so glad for you. We might as well be twins... you know what I mean. Be strong girl. Must admit, the waiting is killing. Starting Optifast next week and 3 weeks after the op going to Thailand on a 2 month holiday... hope it all goes well... lol - If you dont live on the edge... you are taking up too much space... my motto

Hi all I am in the planning phase. My GP sent me to be banded (or making me a bandit?) I have so many Q's, so combing the forum for answers.. looking forward to it and I guess saying goodbey to my old life... bit by bit. Will open a blog and capture the feelings for later on... then we can all have a good chuckle. Is there anyone else on the forum from Canberra Australia? Contact me pleezz.
