I worked with a dietician for over 22months while waiting on approval, for my surgury. In this time period, I started increasing my activity, weighing in with dietician and bariatric nurse once a month, started replacing all my sugar habits with other things. For example when i first started i would normally have maybe roast with potatoes extra gravy buscuits and for desert white cake with icing and a pop and some vanilla ice cream. that was horrible.( now that I look back, didnt taste horrible, lol, but....) after months would go, i might would change to roast with, baked potato, and salad, crystal light, and some sugar free jello with lots of sugar free low cal cool whip, and some water. or fish with salad and potato. These new sugar fixes didnt come overnight, but they came with changing my mind set with my dietician, that help me. The less sugar i ate, the better i felt. i started to notice that i didnt even want to see little debbie cakes or anything else. You will have to start one item at a time. one day at a time, i think this will be your best bet for success! much luck to you!
