I completed my psych on 7/31, and it was quite painless, not what i was expecting at all. He asked me some questions about why I had chosen to do the lap band, etc., and then it was over. He said that the doctors want to know that you undersatnd the procedure, and are able to sign for the operation. -

Hello, I too have just started my journey, and I now have 5 more months left of visits with my PCP. I have GHI insurance and I hope that after I complete all the prescreenings it wont take long to get an approval. I am so looking foward to getting banded in 2011. New Year, New Me!!!! :biggrin: -

Hello all!I am new to this site and journey. I've been reading different post and you all seem very supportive of eachother,I think I made theright choice.

I am new to this site & to this journey. I appreciate your honesty. There are some demons that I have to let go being fat, and there are other demons that I will have to let go when I lose the weight. I know I that my emotions are tightly attached to food and therefore I have to make every effort to deal with my issues without food. So i hope being on this site and reading your post will keep me grounded.
