  1. I was sleeved April 4th and I tell you until about the 3rd week when I was getting in more purred food and taking Vitamins did I feel better. When I was on liquids I was just so tired and weak.... Eating some food helped me feel alot better... The liquids was hard for me.. G

  3. I am three weeks out and already sleeping on my side comfortable. I can't sleep on my back drives me nuts. Start off slow and try it for a few hours. Good Luck! G
  4. I am following the Dr and trying trying to get in all my liquids. It is soooo hard. I just keep sipping away. Vitamins are helping not even craving junk food I will never go back. Setting small obtainable goals and then will do another. Thanks everyone for your support! G
  5. I started mushy yesterday and I had mashed potato's that was scary after liquids for so long ate a few teaspoons slowly. Today my first scrambled egg. It was yummy a little more then half and I was full! Good luck! G
  6. After Dr.'s appointment weighed in and I have lost 21lbs since my surgery two weeks ago. I am so excited I weighed 412. A few more to go and I am out of the 400's! Wow what a difference I feel. I started this at 455. Good luck to anyone starting this process.

  11. I ended up doing my own liquid diet to help and make things easier. I am one week out POST Surgery and feeling great! I didn't have any complications and the worst thing that I have had to deal with is the gas... It was so hard to get passed! Good Luck everyone G
  12. My doctor wanted me off 1 month. I took it figure I had the vacation and I needed it! I am in week two and still a little weak. there is no way I could be at work today. G
  13. Yes the cough got better and I doctors said we were ok. It is weird I haven't had to take many of my pain meds it wasn't as bad as I thought and I have a low tolerance I am a big baby... One thing is every sip churns up my stomach and it girrgles. The gas is hard at times but working it out. Thank you for the well wishes I am just on liquids for one more week. Having trouble getting it all in. No room! LOL Just keep reminding myself to drink drink drink slowly! I think I maybe too slow..... G

  15. I am home and doing great no complications. I was sleeved Moday April 4th. Stayed four days in the hospital. Make sure you get up and walk when you can helps pass that evil gas out of you! The doctor only has me on Crystal light and boost. Nothing else. Just trying to get it all in G
  16. Hello all I was sleeved Monday and the Dr decided to keep me in the hospital till Thursday. No complications.. The burping and the gas were my only bothers so far. just wanted me to pass gas and walk around which I did everyday. I am up and around and feeling great..... Having trouble sleeping so that's the only time I take my medical. I like to toss and turn. thanks everyone for your well wishes. I will be on more when I can! G
  17. I talked to the Dr and everything is fine I am really at the end of it but still a little cough it was scarying me. I have come this far and trying to prep mentally that would have thrown me for a loop! Thanks! G
  18. As my luck would have it I got sick and I have been taking tons of Vitamins and Code ease trying to get better but I can't lose my cough and runny nose... What's going to happen Monday will they cancel? G

  20. Same here my date is April 4th and came down with a Cough and sore throut. Don't know what medicines I can take this close to surgery. G

  22. I am wondering am I one of the lucky ones that doesn't have to do a 2 week pre op diet? I was told just don't go to buffets before! LOL I thought about doing my own modified one anyway to make things even more easier on myself? Thoughts comments? G
  23. I am going through many emotions also, my date is April 4th! After going as long as I did and taking the 6 months of classes I know I am ready. I couldn't have been prepared had I not went to classes. It really got me in the mindset to do this and make the changes to my life. Hang in there it is something that everyone goes through...
