  1. I could feel my band for a few weeks after surgery. It was horrible! It felt like someone had stuck their hand in my chest and was squeezing my stomach. Luckily, I am 8 weeks post op now and no longer can feel it. Maybe its positioned badly?
  2. Margaret I don't know if its band related but if I were you I would definately get a check up at the doctors. You never know what it could be.

  7. Hi there, I'm a 32 year old mum living in Perth, Australia. I stumbled across this website and have spent hours on here already reading blogs and checking out peoples pics. I am probably going in for surgery in the next few months and would love to chat with others that are starting out and also, if anyone who has already been banded wants to take me under their wing I would be very appreciative:smile2:
  8. What does your typical days food intake look like? Do you have trouble with certain meals? How much can you eat? From a curious about to be bander:blush:
  9. I'm going with Dr Kevin Dolan. Haven't heard any reviews about him so I hope he is good.
  10. Thankyou, I hope there is something I can take for it.
  11. Wow, all you guys are amazing!!! I cannot even imagine eating so little and not being obsessed with when I was going to eat next!

    A Banded Letter

Iwanttotriagain, you are so funny for doing that! I thought I was the only one with sinister ideas of how to add weight. I am approaching my consultation in 3 weeks and was planning on carrying hand weights in my pockets. Your idea is better;)

8 month post op comparison pic - from behind ;)

Wow! I can only hope that my ass looks as good as yours does now after my surgery. Keep up the good work honey!
  23. I just read your blog. Firstly, thanks for sharing. I am awaiting surgery in a couple of months and it is good to know what it is really like. So many of the patient stories on the doctors websites have people saying that the pain is very minimal. Its nice to know that that may not be the case so I can plan for it. I have two little girls aged 6 & 7 so now that I have read your blog, I will organise someone to have them for a few days post surgery as before I was planning on just doing it all myself. Keep blogging as I certainly will keep reading:thumbup:
