  1. Hi there, I'm new here. I just wanted to chime in and say that hopefully your mom will come around. If not, this is your decision and your life. I'm not planning on telling my own mom because I predict her to be judgmental and the attitude that I'm "taking the easy way out." I wish I could tell her and get the support that I need, but I don't think that's what I would get. I do fear her finding out after the fact, that she'll feel hurt, etc. So I'm glad you were able to tell your mom and that you're "free" and don't have to keep up with a lie. She might just need some time to process it all....
  2. I'm going to get banded (hopefully) in March-ish of 2011 by Dr. Ramanathan. I met him in August 2010 and he was very nice. I also saw his PA, Kelly.
