  1. :thumbup:Oh how I have felt this way. Had a little meltdown yesterday when hubby was going to get ice cream...I was really ok with it but he got upset and said it wasnt worth it to eat in front of me...so then I felt bad, I am realizing that this is my journey ...........it is hard when he is fixing foods I love, but then I decided that is how I got to where I was because of ALL the food I love. I usually sit outside by myself and remind myself why I did this, for ME, or go lay down for a little nap. Everyone assures me it will get better and I am sure it will with every step, every stage, what is nice we have these places to confirm our decisions and deal with the other factors...........good luck on our journey, God Bless:thumbup:
  2. Hi, newly banded also, the 24th. I appreciate all the information here, knowing that feelings and thoughts are normal and progress is slow but oh so worth it. I am blessed with little pain, but also bored with liquids.......post op appt next wed. Keep up the good work everyone and thanks for all the advice ,it is a comfort:thumbup:
  3. Great News, congrats on the success .............I ha mine one on tues and feel the same. Not bad except for the muscles in my stomach.........never thought I would be sitting at the computer checking the websites out but pretty darn happy.   4. I switched to decaf, .............only post 2 days so this is my first one, it was nice to be able to get up and fix it an sit an relax, back to a little normal routine
  5. Hello, I hear you on the patience part of this process..it has been difficult. But I got the official word...........Aug 24th, start pre op on the 14th and nervous aobut it. I have been trying different products to get the feel for it and started my vit's.............any help,advice,suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks Carol:rolleyes:
