  1. The nurse at the doctor's office told me that some people can drink carbonated beverages, but the problem is that the bubbles expand the pouch. That it might not happen on the 1st drink, but it would eventually expand the pouch.
  2. I was told the same thing about Advil and to take Tylenol. I get migraines, but was told that I was okay with taking the Fiorcet that was prescribed for them.
  3. I want to come out and play. My name is Monica. I'm a 35 year old mom to 4 kids (12, 10, 3, and 2). I decided on May 30 to get the lapband. Had my first doctor's visit on June 17. Got approval from Tricare on June 23. Had my psych eval and nutritional assessment on June 30. Got a phone call on July 6 from the doctor's office to let me know that I have my pre-op on July 19 and surgery scheduled for August 2. I wasn't expecting the process to happen so fast, and my head is spinning. It is spinning in a good way though.
