Hello all! On 11/29 I had my lap band removed and had the sleeve done...9 weeks and 40 lbs lost so far! I’m struggling with portion control and making healthy lunch choices while at work. Anyone have any tips?

What I mean is it’s easy to eat too much and in a few minutes feel like throwing up. Also, I don’t have many hunger pains but my brain tells me I should eat even though I don’t actually feel hungry.

I was banded on 7/6 and quickly lost 15lbs in the first two weeks. Since then, I haven't lost any more weight and have been at the same weight for about 1 week! I'm eating right-what should I do?? Has anyone else experienced this and how did you get through it to start losing again? (my first fill will be on 8/19) Thanks in advance for the advice!

I was banded on 7/6 and just started pureed diet. I started a couple of days early because I was just so so hungry. Well I'm still super hungry and I have lost 15 lbs, but have been stuck at 15lbs for a few days. I need some ideas to help curb the hunger pains so I don't cheat! It's not emotional eating or boredom- I'm physically so hungry that I can hardly stand it. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm getting a fill on 8/19. Thank you!!!

I've been lifting up my 24lb dog since about 1 week post op- I know it's not recommended, I just try to use my legs and not lift with my back or abs. (He's like my baby!)

How many calories are you eating per day?

those pre-op diets sound horrible! I only had to do a liquid diet the day before.

me too...I was banded on Tuesday 7/6! Starting to feel a little better today...can't wait to get back to normal activities.

July 6 for me- tomorrow!!

I didn't have to do a pre-op diet...tomorrow is my surgery and I'm on clear liquids today. I wonder if that's normal? Seems like most people on here have had to follow a pre-op diet. I'm nervous too; but mostly about the lifestyle change and I hope I don't regret doing this!
