went for a fill last Tuesday, I have not been able to eat at all and drink very little. 2 proein shakes a day if I am lucky. I am going in the morning for an unfill!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Alma

When went in for surgery I weighed 272 one month before my surgery I weighed 282 today 04/16/2007 I weigh 238 2 days ago I weighed 233 so go figure. I will have my 3rd fill tomorrow, so maybe I will start losing again. My problem is eating to much and not exercising enough:o . I need to get motivated. I am proud of the pounds I have lost amd I have went from a size 22w to 16w:) I hope I keep losing good luck to you. Alma2bfree

I go tommorrow for my second fill. I hope I start losing more. I know my eating has increased the last 3 weeks. I still am not consuming near as much as before the surgery but, i have not lost any in about 3 weeks. I am kind of down:sad: hope it gets better after tomorrow.

February 11, 2007 I have my my second fill Tuesday. I have this one helps me lose more weight. I have lost between 25 qd 28 lbs. since the surgery on 12 /12/ 06. That does not seem like very much. I know I need to exercise, but i have not got motivated yet.

I had my surgery December 12 and have lost 22lbs, but lost most of it within the first 2 week after surgery. I will have my first fill Thursday, did most of you do better after the fill?

I have been reading all the messages from you okies. I will be banded 12/12/06 DR, Lana Nelson in Norman OK is my Dr. she is in with Dr Keith at the Oklahoma Weight Loss Center. They and the Norman hospital have the only Medicare certified center for excellence in Oklahoma. That is why I picked them I know what strict regulation they have meet to receive the certification. I also heard good thing about OWLC through freinds. Everything I read seems to say the same thing, that eating slowly and chewing is the trick to keep from throwing up. I am concerned about throwing up and the band slipping. My doctor is only about 45 minutes away I live in Marlow Ok. Anyone have any comments about the band surgery any help be appreciated. I am having lapband December 12 . I was kind of worried about my age I am 54. My dotor said I was in pretty good shape, better than many she saw. Any older ones out there that have had lapband?
