  1. Costco carries a liquid multi and liquid calcium citrate. They are called Reviva. http://revivanutrition.com/product.html
  2. Try Diet Lipton Citrus Green Tea. It's my new fav! its a lttle too sweet for me so I add water to my glass.
  3. I went in for a fill yesterday. When i met with the nutritionist he asked if it was "that time of the month", i replied that it was and he explained that i was carying around 9lbs of extra water weight! I have no idea how they can tell that its water but geez!
  4. I was banded on 12/29/10. At 2 weeks post op I started walking 2 miles a day on the treadmill, however i was getting pain at the port site becuase my belly was moving around so much when walking, it was tugging at the internal stiches i think! ha ha. I cant walk slower than a 3 on the treadmill so I started wrapping my belly with an ace bandage to hold it tight. I havent had to do that this week and on Monday even started Zumba! My plan is Zumba Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. Treadmill with low weight arm excercizes for the other days. (need to lose that under arm FLAB. I bought a 5 lb weight ball that I toss around with my boys (ages 12 and 14) or even with my husband. Its fun and I am working out too! The hardest part for me now is i can eat almost much as I want. I dont get my first fill until 2/10. Sucks because i get home from the gym and want to pig out. eeeekkk!
  5. Wait, are you supposed to keep phenergan suppositories in the fridge? eeeekkkk! Did I ruin mine?
  6. Costco carries a liquid multi called ReViva and they also mke a liquid Calcuim Citrate. I have been using both for 6 months now and LOVE them. Price is right too about $11 each for a bottle and they last over a month. I also use sub-lingual (under the tongue) B-12 which you can find at most health food stores.
  7. I just went to the Dr for this same issue yesterday. I was banded on 12/29 and started getting a rash about 4-5 days out. I was told I must have been alergic to the Iodine Prep they used before surgery. It makes sense since that is the only area i have my rash. Its all over my torso, breasts and wraps around the sides of my back. I was advised to take Benadryl but I hate how i feel when i take it so i am just dealing. Its been 7 days since surgery and its SLOWLY going away. But bumpy and dry for sure. Tiny little bumps. Almost feels like goosbumps when you run your hand over it. Hope you feel better!
  8. Becki - I feel the same way! I was banded on 12/29 and i have constantly had something in my mouth. Today i have had Jello, yogurt, 2 protien drinks, Soup, a lot of Water and im still hungry! Maybe more Protein? But i have had 60gms and its 4pm. The first 4 days were great but all of a sudden i became an eating machine! I feel like i can eat everything. What did you strat eating on week 2? I would love to have something with more substance so I can stay full for ahwile. ~K
  9. Hey guys, in regard to the gas... I was banded on 12/29/10 and i had terrible gas pains. I bought some Extra Strength Gas X tongue strips and they work WONDERS! Ok'd by my Dr. too. Hope this helps!
  10. If anyone can email me a copy i would love it as well. karileighsmith@aim.com
  11. That is wonderful news! Thanks for doing the leg work for me! I am attending a seminar today for a local Dr. and one tomorrow with Dr. Krahn. I hope to make a decision by next week. Thanks again!!
  12. Scott, I looked into Dr. Coon today and he is not covered under my insurance. :-( Thank you again for the info!!
  13. Well I had read on this site that many people have had to pay program fees ranging from $200 to $4,000! Even if their insurance pays 100%. I have not done my research on that yet though so I will update you on what I find out. I am currently looking at 4 doctors and the program fee is now going to be one of deciding factors. So much to think about!
  14. I am looking into Dr. Krahn as well. If you dont mind me asking, are you using insurance? If so what is the program fee they require?
  15. Thank you for the info. And congrats on your success!! I am so dang excited to start the process!
