Kathy, Thank you for writing back, I am really happy to hear that you had a smooth surgery, I am getting excited to get mine. How much food do you think that you can eat in one sitting?? Go on to forums, scroll down to plication surgery there is lots of good stuff there to look into. Its hard to find alot of info on this procedure, but it is something that I might be doing. Im still debating... Lisa

Ya I geuss you are right It would be nice to know since I am and Im sure other people are going to Mexico for surgery, and trusting the doctors down there with our life would like to know what Dr to avoid there I know if I had any complications I would be letting everyone know so they wouldnt have to go thru the same thing. I have 95 lbs to loose and I am trying to figure out what surgery to have im debating on the plication and the sleeve and was wondering what you thought about the plication surgery. I am worried about the leaks and the complications that come with the sleeve, but I also want to loose all my weight and I dont know if I get the Plication surgery if I will be able to loose all the weight. I am having a real hard time trying to figure out if I want the sleeve or the plication, I am going crazy on trying to figure it out!!! I like the plication cause there is less complications but I dont know how the weight loss will pan out, and I like the sleeve but im afraid of the possible complications, but I like the way you loose the weight, Geeeze!! I keep reading all that I can find on both surgeries, but there is not alot on plication surgery, darn it! Well keep me posted please Thanks, Lisa~

Hi there, I am asking all the sleevers here if you can answer some of my questions, I have decided to go with the sleeve instead of the plication, well im 80% sure and I was wondering, will you all be able to drink any carbonated drinks down the line? Also how long is the healing process?? I need to know so I can go back to work. I am worried about leaks has anyone had a leak or is that like something really rare that happens?
