Hi Jenepha, Ya I am still saving my money almost there though, how much weight do you need to loose now? Did you loose alot on with the band? Ya that sounds fustrating that you have to miss more work and save more money for another operation. I have been hearing alot about bad things that are happening in TJ, I was wondering if there is anyone that has went to TJ to Dr rod at the INT hospital that can tell me how safe is the hospital and also how safe is the hotel there?? I was also wondering, how is my mom going to eat there while were there and how do we eat when we are at the hotel??? Lisa

Hi there, I was wondering how you are doing and how your weight loss is going? I know its almost been 3 months since your surgery and was curious if you have the same restriction on how much food you can eat and if you have lost any more weight. I finally have my surgery date for nov 23rd and I had to pick a surgery so I picked VSG but in reality I have not really decided if I am going to get it or the plication surgery, still up in the air they said that I can change surgery if I want to. I originally wanted to get the plication, but I do have 100 lbs to loose and so Im not sure if the plication would be the best for me or not. I'm still undesided darn it uhhh!!! Ms Lisa~

Hi Ka, Are you going to INT Hospital in TJ? I have also been eating like mad!! I ate a big ice cream cone tonight, it was good!:cursing: I dont think I have to start my preop till 2 weeks before, When are you starting yours? I am having surgery November 23rd and very nervous I know its a while away but after you book your flight its like a done deal! no turning back now! How did your surgery go? How long did it take to start feeling good? I am thinking about taking about a week off work, I hope that is going to be long enough. Thanks for writing me back Lisa

Hi there, Ya, I am going to Tj to get my surgery, it was hard to pick a surgery date cause he is not there very often, I wanted mine done in Nov so all they have open is thanks giving week so I am having my thanksgiving the week before for my family, of course i will not be able to eat:thumbdown: but owell its totally worth it! I am now going to talk to the dr him self about the surgery and which surgery will be best and which vsg or plication also i want to ask him alot more question but i know that i will forget every question so i am writing them down and i am asking you all to help pick some very good questions for me cause i am a scader brain please help me!!!!

Letme, Yes, I will be taking my mom with me, she goes everywere with me. I am very nervous thanks for asking, I still have not decided for sure if I am going to have the plication or the VSG, I am having the hardest time trying to decide. Other then that I am ok and still doing alot of research on both of them. Were is your Dr located? And how much is your surgery going to be? I wish the best for ya and a speedy recovery as well!
