  1. To trll you the truth i'm one of the few on here that was 50/50 on the two surgeries. I actually changed my mind to the bypass , but the coordinatator said it was too late. The one area my Drs. office failed me was allowing me to ask questions and decide with the Dr as opposed to having to know before even seeing him.
  2. We were banded the same day!!! I LOVE MY BAND!
  3. You have lost more than me !!!! Good for you!
  4. I was so thirsty all the time before the band . Up all night Drinking and peeing. Now i wake up ....NEVER. Im surprised and very happy to say the least.
  5. Thanks a bunch . I told my husband i had to whipe my eyes i thought i Gained 6 lbs. Got off and back on and Whooooo hoooo!!! Im sure it will start slowing down soon enough.

  7. This weekend is finally the turning point for me ....i feel on top of the world.
  8. Most Usa DRs. from what i was told now use the new system , which is the standard 10 cc or Large 14 cc lapband system. Id be a bit perturbed if my Dr placed a obsolete band in me. I have a standard 10cc band and eat a 1/2 cup at a time and get the one hiccup full sign. I sort of have restriction . All bands come with a small amount of liquid in them (Dr told me ) at post op. I was also informed that there are people that get a band and have restriction from the start. I think ill only need a small fill to be there....we shall see:wink:
  9. well along with the fact that all us august peeps get along great!!! Its like one big family!

  12. :thumbup:4 more pounds and im there!!! in Onederland! It took me 4 months to lose the weight ive lost in 1 month with the band!
  13. I had a nasty sinus infection less than 2 weeks before surgery. My pcp put me on antibiotics....that helped along with the iv antibiotics. My surgeon made sure i was on high dose antibiotics in the hospital to ward things off.
  14. I have a standard Ap 10cc band . I think the US DRs. use either 10 or 14cc now.
  15. We were banded the same day !!! Im in the same boat ...i lose 3 then 3 come back! my body wants to hold on to it. Im not cheating , and im just starting back at the gym. Its a process . Add me as a friend , we can bounce things off one another, after all we were banded the same day! Jennifer
