My Dr stated that ...fills less than a month apart from each other can lead to a emergency unfill due to the fact that you can feel restriction up to two weeks after a fill.

I don't care what people think of me having the surgery. Its my body and im making me healthier. I have a positive outlook , so most around me have been very supportive!

Dee , Thats great, but don't be too hard on yourself, Usually 75lbs is what the high number to lose the first year. Just don't beat yourself up if you lose 60 , afterall 60 is a big number in itself!!! keep up the good work! ~jennifer

well Nov 5th can't come soon enough!!! i want my fill. The weight is slowing down again. 4lbs since oct 1st. Can't complain but want better restriction.

Fyi the older version of the band would be 4cc . Allergan makes two sizes now , the standard 10cc and the large 14cc. a quick way to find out if he uses the older version is to ask what size.

I was told that allergan has 2 sizes 10 cc and 14cc. The 4cc is not widely used anymore because of the new styles. Did you get banded in mexico?

consignment shops are also a great idea!!!

Why do people not follow the guidelines? i was so afraid of doing the wrong thing, i was strict with myself. Slips happen if the band does not have the time to heal!

I honestly think im tighter now than i was a few days after my fill. If i eat too much...mind you its not alot , up it comes.....maybe im allready close to the sweet spot , we shall see!!!

I actually tell most people how i lost it if they ask. Most are supportive of me . If not screw them!!!

Well i pondered about how im going to be able to buy a new wardrobe(im a clothing person, loveeeee to shop), as i lose the weight. I work a full time job in a Dental practice. Well what better way to get extra excercize and a hefty 40 % discount then to get a very partime job at my fav clothing store. I was hired on the spot and since have bought 2 new outfits with my first two paychecks. Food for thought .....and keeps me more active!!!! ~Jennifer

Im not discouraged at the moment ...I think of it this way, ive lost over 28 lbs in 2 months since my pre-op diet. It took me 6-8 months on jenny craig to lose thisa same weight!!! not only the time but i spent over thousands of dollars at Jenny craig. Keep up the hard work guys !!! it will pay off! ~jennifer

There are many Drs in the states who will do the lapband as outpatient for cash pts. Im in florida and my Dr is reasonable for cash patients and a really good surgeon.

lost about a half lb more!!! anything is good!!! And onederland is good too . Now if i can get 10 lbs off in a month ill be pleased.

Hello, Aggressive fills are great, but with that being said The Dr can only put in what the band is willing to take and the patient is able to drink with fluid going down. Id rather lose a smidge slower...mind you i get mad if i don't lose any weight, because i don't want to lose my hair or have saggy skin losing to fast. I have 2ccs so far after my first fill and im losing again...maybe ill get a cc next fill, it is up to them and my band

you might have pulled stitches . Mine was icky one day too. have someone check it if it was alot of blood

yes there is warning but i went directly to the bathroom. It comes up easy. But not fun.
