Hello Mrs Stevenson,don't get disappointed..it's a process n my doctor says were n lapband HELL right now.It's been 7weeks for me and I have lost a total of 10pds..I was sad at first,but I can tell in my clothes,more than the scale.It's weird,but I know in time,it will get better.I had my first fill,last Thursday and no restriction..I was told it may take me a few more times,until I hit the Green Zone,which is when you start to lose weight and not feel hungry as much..soooo,I'm trying not to focus on the weight,just know we have our tool and in time,it will begin to work..Good-luck,we'll get there soon..Ms.Gwendolyn

Hello sandradee...well,i guess I thought something was wrong with me...after I heard your story,i feel alot better...I thought something was wrong with my band...have u gotten a fill yet? I think everybody.bodies are different...to be honest i did better at this point without the band...before being banded i could lose the weight up to a certain point(30pds) n gain it all back n some...i really think it's cause its the summer n i'm anixous...if i can keep n mind that it's a long term goal,i'll be okay!!! but it's depressing when you know your doing your best...it's been almost 2wks n i haven't lost anything,however my family seems to think that i'm losing..maybe it's the inches...on the 7th it will be a month for me,since i've been banded and i'm hoping i get a fill,however i've heard that you may still be hungry after...I think with the right adjustments n time we will be fine...keep up the great work!!! and don't give up...Have a great holiday weekend....Ms.Gwen

Hello my name is gwen..i got banded on th 9th!! I'm on my way to my first doctor's visit...te surgery went well,it was only aout 45min and i was able to go home a few hours later...i didn't want to eat for 3days!!! My thoat was sore n i also got dehydrated!!! Sooo be very careful,that's not good.after my fourth day i was doing alot better...the gas pains is what killed me!!! I was not aware that they put gas in ur stomach at surgery and after it has to work it's way out in time...everyone don't have it,but for the most people do.good luck!!! Get some gas-x to be prepared...i'm on a week and i still have it,but it's not painful as much...after surgery just focus on healing and weight loss later...overall,it was great!!! GOOD LUCK!! THIS IS AN ADJUSTMENT!!! I REALLY DON'T WANT TO DRINK ANYTHING...I DON'T LIKE THE WAY I FEEL!!! THIS GAS PAIN IS KILLIN ME...EVERYONE SAYS IT GETS BETTER WITH TIME....TODAY IS DAY 6 POST OP...SURGERY WENT GREAT!! GOOD-LUCK....GWEN
