  1. Hello Yall, I am looking to get banded within the next 6 months. I have a low BMI of 30.5 and I am having trouble finding a local doctor over the Internet that will band me. I have found doctors in other states but I would much rather be closer to home. If anyone knows of a doctor in the DC/MD/VA area that does low BMI banding PLEASE let me know! I really don't understand why a person has to get so fat before they will help you. All the woman in my family are fat accepted the 4 that have had some type of procedure. I just don't want it to get to this point. Kris
