My name is Anja and I am 40 years old. Last week I decided to apply for the Lap Band surgery after endless diets (actually I am always on a diet) and always believing that I can loose the weight on my own. But finally I had to admit to myself that I can't do this alone. Since I made the decision to have the surgery, I feel so much better about everything. I know that it will still be hard work to loose all the weight I have to loose, but the surgery gives me hope, that I will actually succeed this time. Getting the referral from my PCM was easy and I already saw my surgeon today for my first consultation. If the insurance company approves the surgery, I will have it at the end of June. Iam looking forward to this jorney and can't wait to see the first results.
