  1. Stay on them.....
  2. I had my band revision on December 3rd and also had hernia repair. It sounds crazy but get up and do some walking. Friday - Banded, Saturday - released from hospital, Sunday - did housework to get some of this gas out, Today - drove to grocery store and did a little Xmas shopping. Move and you will keep moving..... No pain meds today, I will take it to help me sleep. This is my second time at this so I knew what to expect and this time was easier. I feel like I have a mild stomach ache all day and everyday gets better, I promise.
  3. Sue I understand what you are going through. I have bad scar tissue and getting fills are extremly painful. I also had bad scar tissue. I am apparently all filled up with 1.0 fluid and can't get any more. I am like you...the candy, cakes, chips all go down with no problem. Meat can be hard, potatoes are a problem as well as some vegtables. I have lost 40 pounds but it has been 3 years. I am ready to take it out. I will say I have not gained weight. I get my protein in everyday and that is the trick I think. I am researching the bypass right now.
  4. Is it just me? I have had this band for 3 years and have lost about 40 pounds. Started at 308. I can only be filled 1.0 thats right 1.0, because I have a thick esophogus? Anything over that and I am completely closed. I can't keep anything down and I can see it closed on the X-ray when we go over 1.0. I have never heard of this. Should I change docs? I really want this band out and go for the bypass. I am very disappointed in the results. Do I need to get this thing out first or can they do everything at one time? Please help:eek:
