Hi I was banded by Dr De La Garza almost 4 years ago. I loved him and my entire experience. My only issue is that my port was placed a little too high and sticks past my ribcage now that I have lost my weight. I have tried to contact him via websites but have had no luck. Do you have an email where I can contact him. I was hoping he either switch my port. thanks colleen june

I have had my band for 4 years and now that I have lost the weight my port is protruding past my ribcage. It was placed higher than normal and sticks out like a third breast. It is time for a tummy tuck and was hoping to find a surgeon who could move the port and do the tuck at the same time but am running into difficulty. Has anyone had this experience? thanks colleen june

I have had my band for 4 years and have done very well, I love it. My only problem is that my surgeon placed my port a little too high and now that I have lost my weight my port sticks out like a third breast right below my ribcage. I am ready for a tummy tuck to help with the extra skin and hope to have my port moved to a "better" location but am finding it very hard to find a dr. who can do both at the same time. I had my band placed by Dr De La Garza 4 years ago. He was wonderful and I have done very well since. My only issue is that he placed my port was higher than normal, it sits directly below my ribcage. Now that I have lost my weight, it protrudes quite far. I have tried to contact the Dr. via websites but haven't been able to contact him about a solution. Other than that everything else was great. colleen june
