How does most here pay for their surgery.. I would love to get it done but my fianances won't allow it.. How does other low to middle income individuals do it..or do they, is it just for the well off?

I am serious..I really want to try them out..On a liquit dieters board I go to they love them ..LOL Won't part with them! I am willing to buy afew if anyone is interested.. maybe swap for a few copies of watp dvd's?? Sue

Hi. I would love to knowwhat made every one decide this was the way to go? As you probably know from reading my silly messages, that I am thinking about the surgery..the money is the ony real thing holding me back..(I am sort of poor). Presently, I am doing a modified liquid program/ weight watchers type deal..losing about a pound a week.. still hungry all the time..cheat too often! Whats the typical weekly weight loss? I apologise for the stupid questions... Is there schedual chats here...I noticed the chat room icon. Sue

Me again. I just checked out a site someone on this board..(not canadian area) posted. I put in my weight and age to get my ibm and to was told that I do not qualify at this time.. Is there a specific weight one must weight for the surgery?? Sue

Hello. I am researching the lap band procedure, and found this group. I live in London Ontario. I have been looking for the cost of the surgery..found websites about the surgery but they never mention the cost.. Any ideas?? Sue
