Did your doctor not tell you to be on a liquid diet post op? Eat a hot dog will not allow the band to heal properly in place where it needs to be.
  2. childgod752...We were banded the same day, how are you feeling? Where did you have it done?

I just bought some SF pops and will def have one tonight. How soon did you start having mashed pots and grits? I love them both! How far along are you folks. Anyone near Sarasota, FL?

I so very tired of the clear liquid diet. Would like to stop spending so much time in the bathroom. Still in a bit a pain and assume the swelling is why it is hard to just get the liquids down. Found one very satisfying treat...Baskin Robbins, cookies and cream sugar-free candies. Not sure they will hold me over for 2 weeks of clear and 2 weeks of cream liquid. I want some fish!! Didn't probably get even a quart of liquids down for post op day 2...but will keep trying to get more in. ANY SUGGESTIONS??:smile2:

I was thinking about breaking down and have a protein shake...just to get away from the liquid BM's, does everyone really stick to the clear liquids for two whole weeks post op?

Hey fatgurl80...I am day 3 post op, still feeling a bit tender. Took my first shower this morning wishing I could stay home instead of going to work. Are you having trouble getting your minimum liquids down? And these chewable horse pills I have to take three daily....are nasty!
