Ok so 5 months ish since having band removed my health has improved immensely have I put weight on I hear you ask !!! yes I have but now I am doing SlimmingWorld and now I am down 12 pounds in total since losing my band five months ago I gained approximately 2 1/2 stone but now I am 12 pound lighter so I will keep plodding on the SlimmingWorld but I do feel a lot better being able To Eat but ,,, do I miss my band hmmmm sort of but health wise no

10 days post op of band removal and YES I can eat and tbh I feel So much better for have engery now no reflux n sleeping better... and yes I have put weight on but that is my tastebuds that have come alive again so I know I will not diet again but going to to now try my best to eat healthy and have joined gym [emoji33]... so fingers crossed all will work out good BUT am I glad band is out I hear you ask ! YES I am as feel more human and health is improving ( amazing to sleep al night without reflux ) x

Quick update now my band is out as if two days ago [emoji33]. Everyone I know is asking am I hungry lol the answer is no I have no urge to eat as yet as I guess it’s early days ( swelling etc) ... but surgeons gave me my band in a tub I said I have a live / hate relationship with t lol ... but any how pain wise not to bad just recover now an see what happens x

Sorry to hear you have problems but tbh my op is now tomorrow [emoji33]7-8-18! I am so sick of being ill and reflux etc I actually looking forward to having band removed as past 3 yrs has been awful:(. People say all the Tind having a band is easy etc until you explain in detail everything that goes with it sick n pain etc then they go oh I never knew this my friends have watched me suffer n happy for me that I can hopefully get some relief with Removel as mostly so bloody tired all the time due to lack of food it has ruined my social life too ,,,

Had my band fitted 10 yrs ago done well with it was 18stone [emoji33] got down to 11st I was happy with that but past 3 yrs have been a nightmare:( .. I have a slipped band ( have done for few years ) but now it band coming out next week as my health is suffering bad cannot eat solids at all so I living off milkshakes!!! N yes putting the weight back in so now I am 13 st it gonna take some hard work to lose weight without the band but I think tbh better than being [emoji40] everyday ,, anyone else had there’s removed and if so how did you find eating n keeping weight off ?
