  1. I eat. I have always had my doctors apts. in the morning and I stay on liquids until that evening. For dinner I will usually have egg beaters or something soft. The next day I go back to eating what I had been eating. I know 2 other people who have had the band surgery and they have done the same thing also with no problems. Just take it slow.

Congratulations!! I had my band done about 10 weeks ago. It took my at least 2 weeks to feel somewhat normal. I was not expecting that as I had never had any kind of surgery before. I was sore. Give yourself time and try to walk when you can. My husband would hold me and we would walk around our neighborhood every day. That really seemed to help me. I feel great now. I walk, jog and do Jazzercise. It is amazing how you start to feel when the weight starts to come off.

This is my first blog on this website. I am enjoying reading all of the posts and how honest everyone is. I had the LapBand Surgery done on February 25, 2010. To date I have lost 42 pounds. I am so excited for my future. My husband, my kids, and myself deserve this.
