  1. The first time I got stuck was a on RL cheddar biscuit, and I thought I was dying. So I didn't try again for a long time. But after about 7 or 8 months, I tried one again, and it went down fine. Definitely filled me up though, but was worth it. Took most of my meal home and ate leftovers the next day.
  2. My Dr. said he didn't see a problem with it as long as it was diet. I drink a 44oz'er just about every morning, and unless I gulp it, I have no problem.
  3. White meat has been a problem. Any fried chicken is a big no-no for me as well, although my doctor wonders why I'm even trying fried food if I'm trying to lose weight. Other than that, stringy food like asparagus, pineapple, long pasta, broccoli stems, celery have all presented problems.
  4. Been there and done that. Got banded Dec. 30th 09, and hit the plateau after 15 pounds and again at 25. Just had my fourth fill and am finally starting to feel restriction. Being able to eat normally, while on some levels comforting, is also disheartening and confusing at the same time. You definitely have to treat it like any other diet for awhile so that you can at least maintain your progress. But it does get better, even though it takes a little longer in some people than others.
