  1. Hi all, I'm so happy to have found a group to belong to! I'd love to join the challenge! I was banded on 10/30/06 in MA. I'm not getting a fill until 12/29 (taking a cruise 12/10 and didn't want to get sick on it, so waiting until after). Anyway, I've lost 9lbs already, so feel like I'm cheating at the challenge by joining it today. However, the more foods I'm re-introduced to, the harder it's getting. I'm really hungry and struggling to keep portions small. The support here is great--thanks to everyone for your enthusiasm!
  2. I am an x-ray technologist. Changed career at age 30 and very glad I did!
  3. I'm just over 2 weeks out and still a little sore at my port incision. One incision is a bit infected too, but it's not bad. I have a very physical job and wished I had taken off 2 weeks, not just one. I'm feeling more human now, but still very tired. Everyone heals at a different pace. I'm still getting over the anesthesia and haven't taken more than Tylenol since 3 days post surg. Just don't push yourself, take the time to let your body heal. Good luck.
  4. Hi Time to Love Me, Did you end up having your surgery at Lahey Clinic after all? My surgery is on Monday 10/30/06 with Dr. Nepomnashy. I'm nervous and excited. So far the center at Lahey has been wonderful. Any comments you have are appreciated. Thanks. Baylee
