I have been attempting to get this procedure done for the past 6 years. At first, my insurance would ONLY cover the R-n-y and NOT the lap-band (go figure)But this year, my new company only does the Lap-band procedure (UHC) and since I already went through 'the hoops' of 6mo dietician supervised...(Optifast) and met all the needed criteria, I was approved right away!The date of surgery is this Thursday (Tax day..lol) 4/15/2010.Already have my Roxicet Elixer ordered for pain (I'll be a cheap date)Can't wait to get going on this!!
