  1. Did you have a sleep study...possible sleep apnea? I do not know about Rochester. Had my lapband done by alan Posner of bufalo general.
  2. Rest for a few hours then try to walk a few steps. Bring a pillow to hold against your tummy on the ride home. Walk as much as possible to releive the bloat. one day at a time. This rings true for the duration of your banding. Welcome : )
  3. I was so hungry during the preop. It was hard after also. Having liquids does not give you much of an option. I was so bloated that I realy did not care about eating for a couple of days anyway. Walking as soon and as much after the procedure is a must. Good Luck with the preop Kathleen:D
  4. Hi I am just outside of Rochester...Middleport. I quit for a few months before my operation. Sadly I started a few months after. I am on a script for pain in my legs. Tramadol. It makes me crave big time. I smoke about a pack a week. Kathleen
  5. I just fret about gaining weight before I have my fill on the 2nd of Nov. I remember when I went in for my final weigh-in before surgery & I had gained 3 lbs. I had been out of my perscription water pills . They were going to cancel my procedure due to the gain:angry I thought quick as a bunny & mentioned the lack of the pills. It worked thank Goodness. Now I am freaken out thinking I had better not gain after the surgery! Hoping to at least stay the same:biggrin1: . thanks Again, Kathleen
