  1. I eat popcorn as a treat all the time. I was surprised to find it on the don't eat list. I have 8cc in my band.
  2. I have to follow the optifast plan so I'm not sure I can add to it. I started it today I have a headache and I'm feeling like a nap. I'm drinking lots of diet green tea with it. My date is May 10th I'm on this until then.
  3. Me too! I go for surgery the same day as you. I started my pre op diet today. I'm scared I will be hungry and have trouble staying on point. It feels like it took forever to reach this point. Very excited to count this down. Maybe we can count it down together:)
  4. Good Luck! I just started my per op diet today, my date is May 10th, starting to get a little nervous. Any advice on the pre op diet? My name is Cathy too
  5. Looks like you are having great success  I haven't been banded yet, my date is May 7th with Dr Irgau with Chrias. Can't wait! I want to start my new life.
  6. I'm waiting to be banded, but my sister is having the same trouble as you are. She went to a "Band-Aid" class this weekend and was told you can stretch out your pouch. First thing to try is eat your protein first and make a protein plug. Then eat your other food. Don't drink with your meal or you can wash it through. This will curb your hunger longer and get you protein in. See if that works for you. Also she learned that if you stretched your pouch you can have your band let all the way out and let gravity take over, it will pull down through the band then get the band tightened again and it is corrected and you will have a smaller pouch again.
  7. Hi all just joined, have surgery date, May 7th, I've have 2 more weeks of weight watchers, I've gone to all my specialist have my dietitian appointments are April 12th & 19th and I need my PCP clearance, blood work coordinator visit and pre-op visit with Dr Irgau. Every thing is set up. When do I find out what my insurance covers? I'm getting really excited about my new life.
