Hi All - haven't been on here in awhile, guess cause my loss hasn't been that great and was ashamed to be on here....but I have been losing hair like crazy - anyone elese? I take citracal petites, Centrum chewables, and a pill for hair, skin and nails. Can anyone let me know I am not alone, and what you did to get your hair back? thanks

Hi - I was banded on 5/19 and had my first fill in July 4cc's then again in early Aug 2 cc's...I am restricted for 2 days and that is it...then none......I have an 8cc band and have nothing yet...does anyone know when I will started getting restricted? it is very frustrating...I thought I would fill it by now? thanks

Shay - you give me so much hope! I have a 7 yr old that took 3 years to have and I have been trying again for 6 years to another - this is the one main reason for getting banded - to have another baby....I sure hope once I lose it then I will get pregnant again! Good news I got my Friend 2 months in a row - that never happens:thumbup: I know TMI...sorry! Good Luck!!!

This is tough - my moms dogs are very good and would never hurt anyone - but if they did and it was a 1 time only thing - she would nto get rid of it - as with you - this dog my Dad picked out and he did shortly after and she loves this dog like it is what is left of her husband - I know that sounds weird, but it is what it is. I would just ask your mom to come to your house as you don't feel the kids are safe around the dog - good luck!

hi - question for you all...I was banded May 19th - first fill was July 7th - 5 cc in an 8cc pouch - first 3 days were great - full after shakes and then the chicken - after that forget it - could there be a leak in my band? How can you tell if there is a leak? I go back on Aug 4th for my 2nd fill - but wanted to check in and see if there was a way to tell. thanks

Hi All - I got my first fill 2 days ago and it did not hurt at all! My question is - my band is a 8cc and they filled me with 5cc's yesterday - is that a good amount? Today was the first day I was allowed to eat - so I think the 5cc's is good for me - I had 1 1/2 egg whites at 9am and got full with thoses (orderd 2 but couldn't eat them all) then wasn't hungrey til about 12:30 and eat the smallest salad ever and was full and I still feel full....this is a good thing - correct? The only thing is I don't feel thirsty and they want me to drink 64 ozs....I have been nursing a 20oz bottle all day??? Any thoughts from the pros on here? thanks

Hi All - I am finally getting my first fill tomorrow! I have only lost 27 lbs since my pre op on May 5th! I don't eat much, definatly smaller portions and only Water all day - no more soda (it's been 2 months - I don't think I miss it anymore:w00t:) But I keep losing 2 lbs and gaining them back - so my question is - once I get filled tomorrow - will things getting better and will I start seeing more results???? And is there anything I need to be prepared for with me getting my fill? Can I eat before the fill - I am a little nervous about tomorrow - should I be? thanks

Hi - I did - I did them for 10 days after surgery - had a visting nurse come the day after i got home - she showed me how to do the shot and that was it. No side effects for me! Good Luck

Hi - I work in Philly too and not far from Hahnemann - just a few blocks away...anyway I went to Temple - loved the Dr but the area - so then I went to Jeanes Hospital about 40 mins away from the city - same Dr and AWESOME staff - stayed overnight at everything was great! I don't think there are any other Philly folk on here...I tried asking before. Good Luck

Hi - I am 4 weeks post and have yet taken any tylenol os asprin or anything! I've had small headaches (the normal kind) and get over them with out taken anything - now I have bad cramps (sorry guys) and I am afraid to take anything - what do you all take for pain? Are there chewable asprins? or do I just smash them up and put over food? Also - when I wake up in the morning I can really feel the port, it's kind of hard then after 10 mins it must go back to hiding - anyone else? Thanks

Hey - Me too! I was banded 5/19 and since May 5th lost 24lbs......but the past 2 weeks I have stayed the same - no matter what i eat. I'm eatting chicken and slim fast and water all day but nothing else is coming off? I hope it goes faster when i get banded on 7/7. Good Luck to you!
