  1. I agree with KimmyTX...everyone is different and our bodies respond differently. I was banded 03.15.10 and at my 8 week mark I had lost over 50lbs; my husband was banded 05.19.20 and he lost slower than me. The key is eat as you are told and exercise! Good luck!
  2. I was banded March 10, 2010 and I have already lost 66.7lbs. It is not impossible, but you have to realize the Lap Band is a tool; not a miracle!
  3. I am not over 400lbs and I am almost 4 weeks out and have lost almost 40lbs now. Had my first doc visit and he said the band was working perfectly for me.
