PJTP - i tried to convince my doc to let me go out to eat with my family on Thursday. i've been craving a steak since i've been in here ... he didnt even have the heart to tell me no, he just looked at me and smiled ... dammit... i want a steak... AT A restaurant ... (he suggested take out)... i want to start my post pardum diet as soon as i get out of here on Sunday-ish... may have to start the following week due that that stupid steak.

i think you should have eaten more though ... after all, i did and im fine!! God made sure of it....

biting tongue... gloucester, i agree with most above, the non food time with your mom sounds like a fabulous idea... and like i posted on your blog, i would have been uber pissed at my mom if she did the same thing.... yer a great mom!

im 37weeks 4days in the hospital on bed rest. he has dropped and it feels like i am holding a bowling ball between my legs... seriously, he is so low that i think if he sneezes he'd pop out. im scheduled for induction this Thursday night/Friday morning so only 2 'full' days left and its starting to really sink in. BPs have been "ok" as long as i am laying down on my sides - left side gets better result. although i complain about the BP and sleeplessness *its 401am*, i wouldnt trade this for the world... i cant wait to meet my little guy and the thought brings tears to my eyes ... oh yeah, did i mention i am SUPER emotional / hormonal ??? bawled like a baby when DH & DD left last night... it was pretty much uncontrollable. soooooo ... 2 days... AHHHHHHH!! oh - and heartbeat - DS's normal HB range is 145-156ixh, and he, too, has a penis to prove he's a boy... :thumbup:

we are doing great ... 3 days til induction (not counting today and Friday of course :scared2:) i have not felt any real contractions lately... little back achy-ness, but nothing serious.... it does however feel like i have a bowling ball in my pelvis ... that is just a tad uncomfortable...

i think i was about 270ish. i was VERY much in shape though. i had lost well over 130 pounds with my band and was an exercising fiend at the gym. i started slow (my 'running' was about 4.2-4.5 MPH, recovery walks were 4.3ish). my longest distance was a 15K in May in just under 2.5 hours (right before pregnancy) ran a 5k right after i found out i was pregnant and then stopped pretty much everything. im scheduled for induction this Friday and will start running again as soon as my OB gives me the thumbs up. good luck!

i knew i felt a bit off saturday night .. i did sleep reeeeealllllly well! ok, to get technical... it's not the woman's orgasm that could get things rolling - it's the man's sperm that ripens the cervix. i mean the woman's cant hurt cause it basically tightens the uterus, but i think the most good is the guys schtuff... yeah, went there last night and saw a quote from the holier than thou one saying on judgment (post 170) and i knew i wouldnt be pleasant in my response, so i just closed my netbook...
