  1. So tomorrow I meet the surgeon the gastrologist referred me to. They were when I made the appointment on what to expect. They were confusing on what is really going to happen tomorrow they received my endoscopy results so I guess we will meet, talk an then file paperwork to the insurance company and then play the waiting game. At least I am taking baby steps right? I hope my insurance will cover this. I don't think I can do another diet alone but I feel miserable at this weight.
  2. So I am in the question stage of this process. guess I want to understand what I might be getting myself into. Sounds like food choices is a problem. I thought that the lap band came with a regimented eating program that we needed to follow. From the posts it appears that everyone is trying to figure out what they can eat and what they can't. So many questions.
  3. So this whole thought process is what has gotten me to where I am now. I am addicted to food and whenever I have been on a self-enforced diet I start missing all the foods I like and feeling as though I am being deprived and punished by the restriction of favorites that I would treat myself to one fun day and then lose control and fall totally off my diet. I so hope to qualify for this procedure so that I can have this tool, and the accountability of the doctor to keep me on track. I am so glad to hear that others struggle with the "last meal syndrome" I have for years put myself down for having this struggle. Thanks to all of you for your honesty.
  4. I probably won't make the April Bandster Bunnies but maybe May. I go on Thursday and if I am approved at that time maybe I will have a date in May. Good luck to all of you. I will be following your posts and hopefully joining your group.
