  1. You mentioned you had a sinus infection and post nasal drip. I am so glad to hear someone else has experienced that. I had that about 1 week ago and seemed to vomitt up everything. It was the post nasal drip irritating my pouch. I am vomitting at least 3 times/week. I think my problem is eating too fast. It is really hard for me to slow down. I was thinking I was too tight but since I am not vomitting consistentily i don't think that is it. I rarely vomit food. It is usually thick clear/white mucous. Does this happen to anyone too?
  2. I second that downward position. I can even just bend forward and rest my head in the seat of a chair while standing and the pain is significantly relieved. Try that. I have also learned that rice, hard boiled eggs and flour tortillas are not my friend. It might be the food you are eating...Hope it gets better soon...on the bright side you are doing awesome with no fill.
  3. Good for you and your weight loss. I had my band put in Mar.5th as well but have only lost 13 pounds. I have been frustrated. I just had my second fill and am experiencing a LOT of restriction. I can't even progress of the liquids yet without throwing up. I am hoping this fill is the 'sweet spot' for me, but i would like to eat something...
  4. I am experiencing that as well. I just got my second fill and up to 5.8cc in my band. I have had liquids x2 days since the fill. I thought I would TRY soft foods today and took 1 bite of soft sauteed carrots and mac and cheese. Instantly I had sharp pain in the middle of my chest. I started vomitting this thick stringy clear mucous. Very little food came up with it. There was a lot of burping too with regurg. What exactly is this? Did I just eat the wrong food or not chew enough. What is PBing? I am still new at this and learning the rough way.
  5. I am 1 week and 1 day out from surgery. I didn't feel hungry for the first 4-5 days, then out of nowhere hunger struck! I made sure I ate atleast 3-4 times/day. Here's a tip-Greek yogurt. It is low calorie/fat and one thing of the greek yogurt has 16gms of protein. I use this for my smoothies. Also, boost shakes are just enough to fill me up and have 16gm protien a piece. Good luck.
  6. Hi. This is my first post on the blog. I just had my lap band surgery on March 5th and have had this horrible left sided shoulder/neck pain. I first noticed the pain 2 days after surgery and it seems to be pretty consistent. It is on the top of my left shoulder and up into the left side of my neck. Some times it is worse than others. Massaging it makes it worse. Anyone else have this pain or know what to do for it or why it is caused?:wink2:
