  1. Well after using different remedies for what I thought was trapped gas. The only thing so far that has helped is the meat tenderizer, lemon juice and pineapple juice mixture. I did buy the Papaya Enzyme supplement by American Health at Wild Oats. I got the "super" Papaya Enzyme Plus and I can't tell a difference yet. I'm not sure if this is a good idea, but I just made another cup and I put two of the Papaya Enzyme tablets in it. I'm just trying to maximize my results, anyway I hope everything is going good for everyone else. This too shall pass. Be Blessed!
  2. That is interesting...I will have to get that book. I want it to work sooo bad. I will keep you posted.
  3. Yes, I called Wild Oats and they have them for $5.29...I want this discomfort gone completely. The strange thing is all my food has been going down fine. Be Blessed!
  4. I don't want to jump to any conclusions, but this morning I was still feeling bad. So I drunk some pineapple juice at about 6:30am and started to gag (yuck). So I was hoping to gag whatever was hurting me out or to try and pass it along, but I still felt the tightness in my chest. However, right now I'm feeling a lot better! I just felt the pain about ten minutes ago and it seems like it is getting better!!! I think it is WORKING!! Sunshine2, thanks for checking on me!!! Be Blessed!
  5. Thanks everyone for the advice, as you can see I am up early because I can not sleep. I mean this has been going on for over a week. I tried the meat tenderizer with lemon juice and warm Water, but nothing has changed. I also drank pineapple juice and nothing, so I may go in to see my doctor today. I will go by the health food store and look for those papaya enzyme tablets. Thanks again everyone. Be blessed!
  6. I know it!! Someone replied to my post on the january bandsters page and here's what she found out. Thanks for the advice. This will assist in reductin the size of the object and should clear the opening. So, there you have it, a remedy for stuck food.
  7. Yes. I don't see how, since I was on mushies up until Friday the 9th and this started on Monday the 5th. Now on 2/4 I ate a bite of my neice's salad??? I thought I really chewed it well, since I figured it could possibly get stuck. Well, I'm gonna try that remedy and I will let you all know what happens. Thanks SOO much!! Be BLessed!
  8. Thank you soo much, it just sounds strange. Thanks again!
  9. Okay posted this message on another page to get some advice, but wanted my January bandsters to read it too. Help me out Audree & Sunshine2:) ! Hi everyone, Lately I have been feeling like I have trapped gas for over a week. My doctor prescribed Prevacid 30mg, today is day three on it and no change. So last night I use an old remedy of baking powder and warm water. I felt okay for a few minutes, then it was back. Today I called the doctor again and ask the receptionist I could drink a little bit of diet coke to relieve the gas and Dr. Madan must have over heard her talking to me and said NO. He thinks some food is stuck, so he told me to go home and get some meat tenderizer and water (warm?) and drink it. He said it is not the best as far as taste goes (ya think?), but it will help break up any food that could be stuck. So I'm gonna try it tonight. Have anyone else heard of this "remedy"?
  10. Thanks Pamla68!!! Be Blessed!

My doctor prescribed Prevacid 30mg, I hope it works. Other than that I am good. Saturday I walked three miles in about forty minutes, and did a few other fast pace things to burn calories. Some people are starting to notice, my weight loss :clap2: ! Be Blessed

  23. Well it's been a month already and I am doing great! I went to Dr. Madan's office, but he wasn't there so I saw Dr. Tschansky (good doc too). He said my weight loss is really good and to keep it going. I was suppose start on my mushy stage today, but he said I can start eating solid food now. I was already eating mushy foods, so I can kick it up another notch. Well that's all for now. Be Blessed!
