  1. Jimboss, I sure am glad you are an October Bandster. You are a great motivator!!!! Thanks!!!!!!
  2. Wow. That is wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. Cuddlebug, Hang in there. It is hard in the beginning. The first stage is healing. The liquids then soft foods is to be easy on your stomach so it can heal. I doubt a bite or two will hurt you, but remember that it doesn't have to be painful to hurt your healing process. I felt like the liquid stage was harder than anything else for me. I was craving tuna salad of all things. I had it for breakfast on the first day I could eat it. lol Anyway... hang in there. It really does get better.
  4. Ok. I did it!!!!! I rode my exercise bike for 20 minutes. Woohoo!!!!! Thanks Jimboss!!! I needed a push.
  5. Wow. That is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  6. Thanks Jimboss, I only have an exercise bike right now. My treadmill is at my dad's house for a while. My stepmother had a quad bipass in November and needs it to walk. So I will make it work with my bike. I WILL RIDE IT TODAY!!!!!!!! I said it, now I have to do it. I can't lie to you guys, right?! Thanks for the support. I love this website!!!!!
  7. Niecyrenee, When he takes the pics, make sure you are both standing in the same places. It will help with the dept in the photos to be the same. If you are closer or farther on the second pics than you are on the first, they won't show as much difference. Does that make sense? You are doing an awesome job. I am so proud of you. You are an inspiration!!!!!!!!!
  8. That is awesome. Way to go!!!!!!!!!!!!
  9. Are you taking tiny bites? No bigger than you pinkie nail?
  10. Isn't this what they call vagina rejuvenation? Or something like that. I haven't researched it but I think it is when they take off some of the excess skin.
  11. My regular doc has taken off several tissue tags for me as well as a couple of moles. She freezes them off mostly, but has cut off a couple.
  12. Mine has been gone a few years as well. I don't miss it. lol
  13. Mary, 33 pounds gone is good!!! ESPECIALLY without a fill. You need to be proud of yourself.
  14. I ate a lot of sugar free/ fat free pudding made with skim milk. I love it. I actually still eat it almost daily. It is a treat to me.
  15. Wow!!!!!!! That is awesome.
  16. Wow Poodles. I am sorry to hear the hell you have been through. Keep us posted on the filet mignon. I hope the unfill was all you needed. Good luck.
  17. It wasn't a wise decision, but it is done. Get up and dust yourself off. You are human and we all make mistakes. Just get back on your liquids and follow the diet your doc has you on. You will probably be fine. Just watch the symptoms.
  18. I am adding exercise 3 times a week to my goal as well. I have done NO exercise since being banded. I have to get off my butt. This goal is going to do it for me. I WILL EXERCISE!!!!!! Do you think if I type it big enough, it will work. lol
  19. I need a swift kick in the butt. I have been eating fudge like crazy. The sad thing is, I don't really like it that much. It is just in my face. Grandma sent it home for my 15 year old and he hasn't eaten ANY of it. I have!!!!!! When I get home today and none of it has been eaten, I am throwing it away. If he hasn't had any, then he doesn't want any, right?! The ironic part of it all is I think I am down a pound. Go figure. I will weigh again tomorrow a.m. and see if it stays off. Other than that, I have done ok on my holiday eating. We didn't serve dinner like we had hoped to. My sister didn't get it worked out. I wish we had done it. I think it helps us realize what we have when we see others that have so little. Mandy, I am sorry you are all sick. Happy holiday, huh?! I hope you all feel better soon. Beanie and Cindy, I am looking forward to Monday's get together!!! I hope everyone else is having a great week.
  20. I have heard good things about both of these docs. You might try putting their name in the search at the top of the screen and see what has been said in the past. I am in Texas, but my insurance wouldn't pay so I went to Mexico. Good luck in your search.
  21. I would say you wouldn't need the Magic Bullet. What you have should be fine.
  22. Good luck to you newbies. It is a wonderful journey!!!!!!!!!
  23. Shouldn't that be your decision to make?
  24. You need to do what is right for you. If getting the plastic surgery at 200 makes you feel better about you, then go for it. I think you are doing an amazing job. Keep it up. You inspire the rest of us!!!!
  25. Let's do it. 15 pounds by February 14th. How about it everyone? Is it realistic?
