  1. I do not have a problem because I'm only eating about 4 ounces of food. It takes about 20 - 30 minutes. Hang in there.
  2. Hope you are able to have the procedure. Take care and good luck.
  3. Thanks so much............I cannot tell you how much you have helped me. I wish you continued success. Hope to talk to you soon.
  4. Hi Tami, Thank you so very much for writing back. Your tips will be very helpful. Especially the Fibersure (I had not heard of that). How much did you lose BEFORE the surgery? Did you do full liquids for one week prior to your surgery? What is an example your daily meal plan? Thanks so much.,
  5. This is truly a depressing thread for me as a newly-banded person. Does your surgeon have any idea why you people are losing so slowly? I hope your luck turns around soon.
  6. I have been drinking with meals, but I'm going to stop because it does not make me feel good at all. I thought it would help when food got stuck, but it does make it worse.
  7. Glad you enjoyed your cruise. Just think of what you achieved before the cruise. It is only natural that you put on a few extra pounds (5 is very little for a cruise). Most of it is probably water weight from the cocktails, etc. Keep up the excellent work.
  8. Hi Friends, I was banded on September 29 and lost 18 pounds from the post op diet until the week one visit. Since than, I've only lost 5 pounds since October 6th (4 weeks) and I've already had my first fill on October 27th ! At times I don't know if what I'm feeling is FULL or FOOD IS STUCK! Can anyone offer some advice on a good eating plan. I cannot go back for another fill until November 17th and want to have a few more pounds off by than. Looking forward to hearing from you.
  9. I live in Weston, Florida. In between Miami and Fort Lauderdale.
  10. Why would you venture off the lap-band diet to do the cabbage soup diet?
  11. It is perfectly normal to feel hungry soon after you have eaten since you have not had your first fill. Be patient and try lots of willpower until your first fill. Be well and enjoy the weight loss journey.
  12. I'm all for the "real deal" condiments as we use so little. I do not like the chemicals in the fat free / low fat products. Good luck to you.
  13. Hi Puglet, I had my first fill 4 weeks after banded. I was on full liquid for two days and soft diet for 2 days. Now I'm eating solids (protein). Good luck to you.
  14. all I see is a before picture. hope you heal well.
  15. It seems as though many people stay on protein drinks even after the liquid phase. Is this a common practice?
  16. Hello everyone. Just wanted to introduce myself.........I'm new to this site as well as to the band. Surgery date September 29th and down 18 pounds. Still in shock as to how little we can eat, but thin must taste better than anything ! Looking forward to chatting. Chrissy O
