Married to a wonderfully supportive man named Billy.  I have 1 son - age 31, 1 grandson - age 10, 1 stepson - age 22.  I have 1 brother that I am very close to.  I have 3 dogs - 2 pugs and 1 minature austrailian shepherd that are spoiled rotten.(one of my pugs name is Gracie and she needs the lap band also...Sadie is our other pug and Little Boy Blue is our Mini Austrailian Shepherd)  They are my babies now.Over the last 2 decades...I have forgot about taking care of myself. I have been about 50lbs overweight since I was 35.  In April 2003 my grandmother passed  away. In April 200ydr4 my mom passed away and for atleast 18 months after that I was a wreck.  If you looked at me I cried.  In April 2005 my dad passed away.  In 2007 I quit smoking after 31 yrs.  I had gained probably 25 more lbs since 1995.  When I quit smoking, I gained 50 more lbs.  I finally decided that I wanted to live with more quality of life...so I saw the results of this program thru an acquaintance and after about a year I started doing my own research.  Then I got over my feelings of "do I really need this?"  and got the nerve to do something about it. Hopefully I can meet other people who have done the same thing, and maybe thru communication we can be a constant source of encouragement to each other.
