how hateful! thats why i havent told many people besides my close friends and family about me getting banded. everyone seems to have their opinion and i dont wanna hear them any more!!!!!!! im sick of being judged, and i think you are doing gr8 for finding something that works great for you! congrats and keep losing!

My name is Emmylee and im 20 years old. i got my band January 13th, and im going for my first fill on monday. im nervous and excited. right now im ALWAYS hungry, i feel like i need a fill really bad, because i eat every 2 hours just about. Im also having trouble figuring out a good way to eat healtheir. i dont have much time between activities and class to prepare my own meals, so i usually end up eating chicken nuggets frm whatever place we go to.... i know its bad, but i just havent found a healthier alternitive yet! anyways im just on here for support and advice, and of course to make other friends!

My weight began to hinder me from my daily activities, and because i was born with congenital hip dysplasia, my dr told me if i didnt lose weight fast i would have to get hip replacement surgery because the weight was starting to be too much for my hip. i wanted to be able to play with my son, and i knew my weight was stopping me from being all that i could be to him.
