  1. I drink the tea with lemon flavor--I do OK unless I drink a LOT of it---over 4 glasses at one time. Then my stomach starts hurting. Have never tried the other flavors, but will soon.
  2. My gas pains--mainly in my shoulders--lasted about 2 weeks, gradually easing off! Maalox helped me. Of course, walking is the BEST remedy!! Good luck!
  3. I weigh once a week or longer if I forget! That's enought for me!
  4. I "sip" water all the time with my meals with no problem. I cannot eat a meal without it!
  5. You might want to think of the pain factor! Will you be on pain medication? I was in severe pain for the first 3 days, but everyone is different. Even riding in a car hurt--pot holes, dips, etc.! Something to think about.....
  6. I take it in the liquid form. GNC makes a great one--my dr. rec. it!
  7. I drink 1-2 cups of coffee in the morning with Truvia and skim milk. The hot beverage helps to clear the mucus out too!
  8. I had my 2nd fill and finally have restriction now. When I am full and I can't eat another bite, it actually MAKES ME MAD! I look at the food and I want it! I am trying to work through this. My surgery was 7 wks. ago. So I know what you're going through! I've told myself to take it 1 MEAL AT A TIME. Good luck to you and if you have any tips, please let me know !
  9. This is funny, but for the first 4 days after surgery I was SO SORE that I would sit on the edge of the bed and FALL OVER on my side and this was how I had to stay all night!! Gradually it got better--the idea of the pillows is great! GOOD LUCK!!!
  10. I have just had my 2nd fill and am pretty tight. I eat just until I am full---BUT I STILL WANT TO EAT THE REST OF THE FOOD! I stare at it and it makes me so MAD that I can't eat it!! I know if I do eat it, it will make me vomit and after 1 time of that--that was enough! I know how you feel and I hope and I can get out of this mind set! GOOD LUCK TO YOU!!
  11. I have just been diagnosed with a sinus inf. My Dr. prescribed me a liquid anitbiotic as well as a steroid dose pack (pills are very small). 3 days later I'm better. I also take liquid children's Motrin. I take Zyrtec whenever I feel drainage--hope you feel better soon!
  12. I had your problem! I had diarreah for 8 days total after the surgery--each day it tapered off a little until around the 8th or 9th day I was back to "normal." Good Luck!
  13. I LOVE the SMOOTHIE KING GLADIATOR vanilla protein powder shake! You can buy it in the big tubs in various flavors. Really fills you up!
  14. I just used the regular Immodium caplets and did just fine! Good luck!
  15. Same thing happened to me until I started eating soft foods--it gradually tapered off until it was "normal". It took about maybe 2-3 wks.! I did take Immodium though also. Good luck!
  16. I think you will be very happy with the results! I went to my dermatologist--she knows me and I trust her--but have also been to a plastic surgeon--good results also. Cost is same as Botox--$500-550 for both eyes, forehead and between brows. Dysport works faster than Botox and results last longer--ask about it! Good luck!
  17. Yes--the doc finally got it in me when he told me to do just that---push out my stomach--also I was laying down and I bent my knees, which I think helped! Thanks!
  18. Yes it is normal--mine hurt in the exact same place as yours and didn't go completely away for 4 weeks! Good luck--it does get better!!
  19. Try the new Dysport--cousin to Botox! Works faster and lasts longer! Got it on Tuesday and today already see a BIG difference! Good Luck!
  20. :mad:I got my 1st fill yesterday! YIKES! The surgeon COULD NOT find my port and stuck me 15 TIMES before he hit it!! He DID not use x-ray and said the trouble was because it was too deep! THEN HE ONLY PUT 1 CC IN!!! Told me I couldn't come back for another fill for a MONTH! Needless to say, I have today CHANGED SURGEONS!!! I am so sore I can hardly walk--and feel NO restriction whatsoever! Has this ever happened to anyone else?:mad::eek::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
  21. My surgery was 12=28=09. I'm going tomorrow for my first fill and am a little anxious. It took me 2 weeks before I thought I'd live after the surgery--was an ordeal! Still a little sore in port area.
