I've told everybody that I'm almost 6 months into my surgery, and I'm STILL learning how to eat.
I think I really learned what TINY bites are when I was working a book fair at my son's school and pizza was ordered. I didn't have Breakfast and I was starving so I ate half a piece of pizza. I didn't want anything to get stuck in front of all the other moms, so I ate ever so tiny bites and I got through it...what do you know!
Something similar happened to me. When I went for my first (and second) fills, the nurse told me that the port was now sideways, which probably happened during the course of my weight loss. I still feel sensitive around that area too. Don't forget, the port is attached to a muscle. Hope this helps.
Wow...I have had two fills and I noticed a difference immediately. It only lasts for about a month at which time I find that I can eat more foods without much difficulty. I would definitely talk to your dr.
