  1. I think there are two things to first look at . Is your band at the right tightness . Staying in the green zone is vitally important . The second is to recognize that you still have old habits that need to broken. I find that if you are hungry . Have a glass of Water or do a job around the house that will take you about 10 mins ..do that job first . You will find that by the time you have completed the task your craving will be gone. Distraction is always a powerful tool ! If you still want to eat, have one more glass of water and wait 5 mins then eat. This will fill you a little and will prevent you from overeating .
  2. Being from Australia its the heat that got me .. so ...lets me real ladies and gents. Its the fact that have to worry about chaffing or the potential yeast infections that occur
  3. Hi there . I have been a bander for over 8 years and still remember my pre surgery diet well . Most doctors will get you stay on the diet until the opp so that is quiet normal . Good luck
  4. Hi there ... first of all.. congratulations on having a wonderful little bouncing baby boy. I am really keen to learn more about banding and pregnancy. I have been banded for 7 years and now starting to think about trying for a baby and was really interested in hearing from people who have been there done that . Keen to understand how you felt with the port etc ... and what Fluid they left in the band .. if at all during the pregnacy. Any insight would be great... And welcome back to the land of the lap! Jodi
  5. Hi there, Sorry to hear you have not been to well .. In reply to your question. You can find that if you do have a cold you tend to have more mucus which can filter down in to the stomach and cause you to feel full and leave less room . Phlem is more dence so it can take up more room and make you full. Hope that helps . But like everything if it continues pop in to see your Dr. Jodi
