Well, I'm not a woman, but I am 58 and just got my referral. Will be getting mine at the Naval Hospital, I think. I am so looking forward to this. I have tried everything, but my friends, who have had this done, are doing fantastic and keep asking me when I am getting mine. I can't wait.

I didn't get any help from my doctor, but that is because he is an optima doctor and they don't deal with TC Prime nor do they cover any portion of any gastric operations dealing with weight loss. I am planning on switching primary care physicians and see if I can get my referral that way. I hope it works. I will let you know.

Oh I agree with you. My heart is in the country, but my paycheck is in the city. :thumbup:

Hello all you banders, I have been researching all the gastric surgeries that are available and you all have me convienced that the band is the way to go. I have been waiting to for my tri care prime to kick in and now just have to figure out my next step. Lots of great attitudes out there. Thanks WayneL:thumbup:
