I was banded yesterday (February 25)! I'm self-pay, so my surgery done as out-patient. The surgery was at 8:00 a.m., and I was home by 4:00 p.m. I've been lucky not to have any gas pain. My incisions are pretty sore when I'm laying down, so I didn't sleep very well last night. I've walked a lot because that seems to make me feel better. I have a follow-up visit with the surgeon this morning. I haven't had as much pain as I thought I would, and I plan on returning to work on Monday. I'm excited to be starting a new life! :eek:

Goal Weight: 175 lbs. #7 Deciding Factor: I'm a single mom of 2 young children. I want to be healthy and energetic for them. #8 Support of Family/Friends: I've told my mom and a few close friends. They are all very supportive. I'm waiting until after the surgery to tell more people. #9 Concerns & Questions: I've given this a lot of thought, and I've done a lot of research. I don't have any concerns at this point. :scared2:
