My first appointment is on January 6th 2010. I attended a seminar on bariatric surgery in November of 2009. I went through a six month diet with my PCP to try and get approved with CIGNA. My surgeon's office submited paperwork to CIGNA on 7/15/2010 and I was approved within the same week. My surgery is scheduled for August 30, 2010. and I am looking forward to the next step in my weight loss journey. My motivation for surgery is to be a healthier me. I have PCOS and have been struggling with fertility issues for years. My husband and I are hoping with the surgery we will be able to conceive within the next couple of years.
