After giving birth to 3 beautiful daughters, I was at my highest weight of 272 pounds.  I had struggled all my life with being overweight, but at this point I knew I couldn't do it "the old fashion way".  I friend of mine had the lapband procedure done and I saw what a success it was for her.  I did the research and had it done.  During my first 2 years I lost 50 pounds, but stopped going for fills.  This seemed to slow down/stop my weight loss.  I put some of the weight back on, but have been going for fills regularly these past few months.  I have been filled to "3"..the maximum is "4" and I still feel that I should feel more restricted with my food.  I don't get the same lack of hunger I got duriing my first year after surgery.  I have also been dealing with heartburn and reflux for the last 8 months.  I am a bit discouraged and concerned that something is not right with the band.  I will continue to follow up with my doctor and hope for the best.
