  1. 1 gallon of water weighs about 8 lbs so if you not peeing enough it could be the cause
  2. I would guess the doctor wants to track changes directly related to the band. As for myself I track from 1st appointment since I was required to get down to a certain weight because of equipment limitations. So I had lost 68 lbs prior to surgery. to date i'm down 85lbs
  3. i likr heavy megadeath an such but switch to Celtic women to stretch
  4. I used to eat after but since the band the small quantities of food it dosen't affect me like before the band but I do wait at least an hour after eating to exercise so I can drink water. But I'm still experimenting with setting a eating pattern. I tend to work out at night 7 pm or later.
  5. I'm in the same boat. I get my first fill Thursday. But as I hear from others the hunger is normal. I find that I try to eat sugar free Jello, popcicles or Protein foods. So to this point I eat about 5 times a day but keep the amounts in check. I am still losing weight but it has slowed down. I exercise a minimum of 1 hr cardio 5 times a week. I push myself hard. Since July 21 '09 I have lost 85 lbs. Not knowing how much you are exercising I would try to increase the cardio and keep busy. I tend to want food when sitting around.
  6. Its been about 6 weeks post op but I would like to hear from others how they are dealing with the emotions of eating. I'm sure there are others like me who eat through their emotions. Lonely, bored or childhood issues for example. I've been to a coulple of psycologists but their approach wasen't helping me to address my feelings. It may be that I don't have a significant other and feel that I can't talk on a dep level with family since we are not close that way. What type of therpist would people suggest? All responses welcomed:thumbup:
