  2. Hello, can some of you please provide feed back. I am having revision to sleeve 28 December 2015. I signed up to run a 8k on 19 March. I love to run and cycle. I ran a Christmas 8K today and felt good. I am 5'8, 210 lbs and want to get down to 175 lbs. Will I be able to run in 3 months post operation?

  4. Hello, I am having revision to sleeve 28 December. I am ready because my lapband slipped last year and stopped working. Also the closer it gets, I am eating more even though I run and cycle. My current weight is 210, I have the working out part down, just need and want to lose weight so I can feel better about myself and be lighter on feet and on bike. Want to look better for a 51 year man. I want to run the New York Marathon next year. Good luck to everybody.

  13. I am cycling a century (100 miles) tomorrow in honor of all Sleevers. Thank you all for your hard work, dedication and sacafrices. I am not yet sleeved but reading all of you guys posts motivates me and pushes me. Please support me as I am supporting you. Proud of all of you for putting in the work.
  14. Hello, you should be fine. Just make sure you make stops along the way to walk and not gas up so much:) I had the lapband and was up and walking and driving after a week. I had cabin fever, just listen to your body. Hoping the best for you and recovery. I am flying to Mexico for my revision and will be there 5 days. Traveling from East to West Coast. I have read for me to get up every 45 minutes to walk.
  15. OKC thanks for replying back and congrats with weight losing. When I get the sleeve, next year I am moving up to try my first triathlon. Need to get off some weight first. Thanks and keep up the good work.

  17. I signed up to cycle this Saturday. Last year my lapband sipped while doing a marathon. I am concerned it may slip again but I really want to do this before my revision to sleeve. Any advice or suggestions are welcome, I know I am a newbie on site and do not know a lot of folks but I am asking for some input from anybody who reads this. Thanks
  18. Will be having mine one week after you:) same Doctor too.
  19. Thanks Jake for feedback. I will just be happy to be under 200 lbs. I feel better and tired of getting fills. I probably paid for sleeve all the times I have gone to doctors. Good luck with your goal weight.
  20. Hello, I am having revision to sleeve. I am slated to have surgury 28 December in Mexico. Good luck to all of us Santa Sleevers:)
  21. Hello, I decided to share with others my journey and hoping for support back. I decided to have revision to sleeve after my lapband slipped after running a marathon last year. I was in the worst pain and was vomiting every 15 minutes. As a result I caught a taxi to hospital because I was out of town. I was in hospital for 2 days with tube down nose. Having revision to sleeve in December. Weight has stayed the same.
  22. Hello, I am flying to Mexico in December. Will be there 6 days before flying back to Virginia. I was lapbanded there and I was fine flying back home. Praying the revision to sleeve works out in my favor. Good luck. Keep in touch on journey if you like.
