Hello from under the sea!
Hello to everyone. I was banded on December 14th, 2009. So far I have lost a total of 13 pounds. I have stalled a little with the weight loss. I want to be working out but I have not been given the okay to get back to the gym and with it being the new year it will be impossible to work out at a decent time. So far I am just playing on my Wii fit for 30 min a day to get some kind of a work out without over stressing myself. Here is to a long and happy weight loss. :smile2:

Embarrassing Stomach Noises During University Exam
I have been mostly confined to my house post-op trying to recover and make sure that once school starts again I am healed up and ready for it. I have had problems with gas and burps, but the funniest one was when I was coming up the stairs in my house, each stair was met with a burp! I felt as thought I was in the Bog of Eternal Stench from Labyrinth but the gas was coming from the other end. lol

Weight Watchers and the band
Perhaps some of the hate is jealousy that they could not have it done themselves? I'm not saying that will be all of the cases, but around my family I have gotten some negative treatment from people who really wish they could have it done and either can't yet or just wont since they don't want to change. I plan to keep going to WW even though I have gotten my Lapband. I want all those little trinkets, darn it! lol I also do like some of the people there and I wont admit to them I have the band, just tell them I have really changed my eating habits... which is not a lie. :smile2: Also, I want to show up one woman in particular who has always been such a tart and mean woman (because we are not all like her) and just flaunt my new butt and long hair in her face.
